Non NFA Transfer Process
Thank you for considering your non nfa transfer with us. As a Federal Firearms Licensee we are required to process all regulated firearms as well as items identified in accordance with Oregon law and all other governing federal laws. Additionally, firearms that are shipped by us or received at our facility through UPS, FedEx, USPS are done so during the course of normal business operations, and are intermixed with other incoming and outgoing packages. Incoming packages are received by carriers simultaneously with retail products and all packages are processed into our inventory management system as they are received.
Due to the volume of products shipped and received from our facility, please allow 1-2 business days following any shipping carrier notifications of delivery for our team to receive your transfer into our system and finalize the required processing. Be sure to provide an accurate email address and cell phone number to receive the most up to date notifications. You will be notified promptly as soon as your transfer is officially within our company’s inventory systems.

- Valid Photo ID with Date of Birth
- Proof of Oregon Residence or Military Orders

TRANSFER – IN
- There is a $30 Transfer Fee Per Firearm.
- 5 or more transfers will be based on a custom fee at managers discretion. There is also a $12 FICS background fee.

TRANSFER - OUT
Once the receviving FFL and destination are confirmed, we will calculate and charge for shipping. Tracking is available upon request.
PRIVATE PARTY TRANSFERS
Lincoln City Sporting Goods facilitates private party firearm transfers. We need BOTH the seller and the buyer to be present, and valid documentation on both individuals. There is a $30 Transfer Fee Per Firearm plus a $12 FICS background fee.
What should the seller bring to complete the Private Party Transfer?
- The firearm being sold (unloaded and in a case).
- Current form of Identification.
- Form of payment if the Seller is paying the Private Party Transfer fee.
What should the Buyer should bring to complete the Private Party Transfer?
- Current Oregon State Driver's License. If the Buyer has a full middle name that is NOT present or shows an initial only on the Driver's License, additional documentation (state or federally issued) will need to be provided.
- Current Oregon State identification.
- Form of payment if the Buyer is paying the Private Party Transfer fee.
